stator wiring on TT600

Was just looking at the connectors that hook up the stator to the wiring harness and the one on the wiring harness side looks like it needs to be replaced. The plastic is breaking and the contacts are moving around way too easy. Can the connector alone be replaced or does the whole wiring harness need to be replaced to fix that.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing that there are harness plugs available separate from the main or sub harnesses. I would keep an eye on Ebay for a used harness. If there aren't any available, you might be able to use RTV silicone or fiberglass resin to repair the plug.

well you could always cut the connector off each side, and solder or crimp new connectors on. Just dont forget which wire goes to which

brought it into the dealer today and they are going to look at it but figure that they should be able to do something to fix it without a new harness being needed

mine melted, had Cycleriders repair the connector(big mistake) then one month later it melted again. This time it was due to a bad connection in the new plug. cSo I used some nice sealed crimp-on connectors for each wire(I think 5). Haven't had a problem since.

Good luck.
