Question Conti Sport Attack tires?

Has anyone used this tire? And what did you think about it? I need a new tire and don’t do much hard riding just allot of straight stuff. I don’t want to spend too much money and the tire seems ok for the price.

Im on my second set. I think they are great. I got about 6500 miles on a set of mostly commuting miles before they became squared off and felt a bit funny. They grip really well for just about anything you'd want to do on the street. I've had mine all the way down (No chicken strips) without any problem or feeling of sliding. Because they dont have alot of treads or sipes, they don't have any tendency to "feather" or cup. I like 'em. Can't beat them for the price and last a decent amount of miles. Nice and stable as well.

Sorry.. I was talking about the ROAD attack. I noticed you asked about the SPORT attack. So I don't know anything about the SPORT attack, just the ROAD's.

Since you said you do just alot of straight stuff, I think the ROAD attack would be longer lasting.

Canyon Chasers has a review of both ...

Can't really go wrong with either IMO.

I've got the Road Attacks on my S4. They're terrific tires especially for the price.

hehe , everyone in the S3 and Sprint forums knows I'm a great fan of the Conti's. I use Road Attack Rear and Sport Attack front (to get that increased confidence in the front).

I have some pics of my first 2 sets here:

And a shot of my last tyre of 6500km including a 5200 (300k being dirt) week long ride, with a 1150km day ride home in 37 degree C heat:

As you can see I like 'em :-), and yes Keeley (my Speedy) has had a bath since these last photos (LOL)

I put the first pair on the Daytona this year. I Love Them. I've got about 4,500 miles on the boots, mainly commuting and still no squaring off. I even ran them through NC as hard as I could to get rid of all the chicken strips and they stuck like glue. I would suggest letting them heat up a little before hitting the curves hard especially with this cold weather though.

Put a set of Sport Attacks on the bike this morning then went for a 250km ride to scrub them in. Was a little nervous at first as I have always run Pilot Powers in the past, but once they were cleaned up I was well impressed. Granted the bike always feels better with new shoes, but these things really stick and the bonus was that they cost me $200 less than a set of 2CT's.
