track days

Oh happy day,
My wife finally warmed up to the idea of doing a track day and gave me permission to go do one.
Now all I need to do is start talking to my brother again, so I can run with him and all his racer friends.
Wasn't rubbing anyones nose in it, I just had to tell somebody and thought you guys would be happy to hear.
Okay gotta go eat diner, later...

No, don't eat dinner. Save the cash for tires!

I can understand the need permission. My wife gave me the go ahead for track days next summer but did not get premission to use the TT600. I had to get another bike (zx7r). She felt the older bike was worth the risk.

Here in Ontario, Canada, if you are caught going 50 km over the speed limit, you will loose your ride, loose your license, and could face 10000 dollar fine as well as going to jail. It is the new anti-street racing law. This helped with the idea of track days.

Look out tracks here come some newbie track people.

The newbie track riders will never be the same- riding on the track lets you know how much faster you can really go, so you never have the urge to ride fast on the street again. Well, not as often. Just beware of how many tires you will use up. Don't let on, either, because it will cause great anguish and hand wringing at budget time! Don't ask how I know...

First off, I don't "need" permission, but it does make life easier later.
On the TT I'm running pilot powers now but they're about done. I figure I''ll finish them up then do the track thing.
My little brother goes all the time, just we don't speak unless he wants something, I guess this could be a way to bury the hachet. Who knows!?!??!

I think that is what ruin me. I did go to FAST racing school last May and this whole summer I wanted to go back to the track.
