WTB: Inner part of rocket launchers

I'm looking for a set of the black plastic inner parts of the intake tubes (the part with mesh on the end). I trashed mine in a project gone wrong. Does anyone have a spare set?

Sweet thanks man.

I was in the process of making custom turn signals built into the tubes, but changed my mind on the way I wanted to do it... These will be going under the knife over the winter too.

Other Motorcycle: Very stationary Commando
Extra Motorcycle: A couple of 'em
They have mesh in 'em? No kidding! TT600s don't have mesh over the rocket launchers.

Well they have the plastic cheesegrater thing on the end - I think it's for appearance as much as anything else...

Funny I was thinking about this months back. My ideas definately outweigh my ability to create what I wanted. I'll keep an eye out for your project.

I put 6 red LEDS in each of mine, the only problem I can see you having is that they are going to have to be VERY bright to see them with the lights on.

That's a really good point Ender - I hadn't thought of it. Maybe I'll have another look at my options - I've got a bunch of Luxeon amber LED's, the only question is how to install them...

Small drill bit (about 1/8th of an inch), wire, heat shrink. That's how ender and I did it on his bike. Pretty easy. But like he said it looks awesome when just sitting parked but it is a little hard to see with the hi-beams on.

When you say 'in', are they back behind the mesh? like it's glowing from within?
