10090 is the stock 2001 map for a bike with stock exhaust. 10091 is the 2001 aftermarket exhaust map. I don't know what they call the 2002 map these days, but it started as 10105 and then was 10115. I think there is something like 10165 as an equivalent now.

I wouldn't know, but I think wheelies aren't a problem with a TT600. Would look rad though

Thanks all. Dynagroove, lengthening the swingarm would definitely allow higher rpm launches without lifting the front wheel; it would also help with high speed stability. As for now, the advice I have been given is to start off with the engine rpms at about 6k and slowly slip the clutch from a stop. If I had a longer swing arm, or wheelie bars for that matter, it would be possible to have high rpm's and then drop the clutch or let it out very quickly. If I did this now, I'd end up upside down, since the drag strip has good traction and the front is strapped with a softer preload in the rear. I'll have to see how I like everything, and if it gets to the point where I want to have stronger starts I might stretch the swingarm. The other thing to remember is that the more high-performance upgrades I do, the greater the chance of things breaking.

It sure makes oil changes automatic!

unfortunately Will, yours was not the one and only. same exact thing happened to a friends S4 in 2004, including the fact that the bike continued to run . it does seem like Triumph got their act together with the last set of the 4 cylinders in 05/06 as my 06 S4 motor is much stronger than my 03 S4 motor ever was.

I finished everything on the bike, and it is currently loaded in my truck. Tomorrow I will be heading up to Sonoma, CA, to Sears Point for my first race on a motorcycle! I'm really anxious, but who isn't there first race?

On another note, while loading the bike I began to think I was losing my mind because it starting shacking back and forth. I soon realized we were experiencing an earthquake. It was a 5.6 with the epicenter in San Jose, about 25 miles south of me. It always puts me back to the Northridge earthquake... not a fun time. I'll post the results from the race and whatnot.

good luck with your races. do you run 1/8 or 1/4? what kinda times? I took my daytona out to the 1/8th drag strip and had a blast. ran low 7 seconds.
