New bike!

Some may remember me and my black/red Speed Four from last year. I sold that to make way for a K5 GSXR 600. Great bike, especially on the track. Well it got stolen last month...**** good thing I have gap and theft insurance! I then had to figure out what bike I wanted next. I didnt enjoy having a bike a cookie cutter bike, it just didnt stand out. I wanted to stick with an inline four 600 but at the same time I wanted to go back to a Triumph w/ a fairing. Lucky for me a guy posted his 2004 Triumph Daytona 600 for sale, asking price of $4,000. Oh and the color, well its the fasted of course...Yellow! It is now in my garage looking pretty. I cant wait to take it out for a long ride this weekend, probably Palomar Mountain. The ergos are excellent for a sport bike and the handling is great. For now the only pic I have is in my profile but I will get more soon. Its good to be back.

I've been meaning to go out and ride palomar one of these weekends.... Maybe we can get together out there... Even though I do hear its really busy on the weekends. and I need to buy some leathers or knee sliders... i think leathers would be more appropriate... or I just just take it slow... hahahahaha now Im kidding myself

Yeah we should get together sometime and head down there. I usually go w/ a couple of guys from the LA area. Its a long day but its worth it. Leathers would be a good idea but you could always just throw on some icon leg protection, better then nothing...or you could just take it easy haha. The Daytona is a good looking bike for sure, I am super stoked about it. I just need some frame sliders and its good to go. I might get the british flag front fairing, that looks pretty sick.
