Hi,

I was just going to try the firmer suspension settings in the manual but trying to set the Compression Dampening force Adjuster (http://gallery.speedfour.org/display...album=9&pos=66) on the left fork and the screw wont budge at all!
The right fork screw happily turns.

Any ideas how I can get it free without damageing the suspension?

Thanks all.

The dirt from the outside is probably what has made it stick. Try cleaning it and soak with WD40 or similar and try again

penetrating oil and wiggiling it back and forth is about the only thing you can do. be gental because that brass is soft.

Ooof - definitely take it easy with it. I'd try hitting it once a day with a penetrating lubricant for a week or so and lots of careful wiggling.

After that you'll be looking at taking the cap off the right side. I'd personally bring the part to a shop if I ended up pulling it out.
