Can anyone tell me what sensor this is? I have looked at schematics to no avail. It crumbled to pieces when I took the rubber boot off of it. Crank Position Sensor? It only had 1 wire going to it... :???:

Its the low oil pressure warnig light switch. section 7.8 7.9 in your shop manual if you've got one. and my bike rode fine without one for the friggin eternity it took the shop to get me one. but I only ride the TT on the track and i watched it closely.

thanks for the replies. I ordered a new on from Bike Bandit, hopefully it wont take too long to get. I also ordered my clutch cover gasket from them. Has anyone had experience ordering stuff from them?

the only reason bikebandit takes so long is because Triumph America takes forever to ship out an order. Any one who's ordered parts at the dealership knows they're slow.

I'd sooner think that it's your dealer that's slow. I ALWAYS get parts in three to five days..........from the day that I order them. It will take Bike Bandit longer being that they are probably not a dealer and have to order parts from a dealer to ship to you.

Cheers

I had that same piece break off my TT600. Low oil sensor. I took the fairings off to powerwash the crud off of it right after I bought it, & the water pressure snapped it in 2. $40 later & 5 days ship time, I had it (Eldorado Cycles in Eldorado, MO).
