So i just replaced my (IMHO) crappy D208 Sportmax GP tires with the Pilot Power 2Ct and I notice the front end responds incredibly fast!!! I also know that the TT is one of the better responding bikes. At what point should I be worried if it's to loose??? I have only had this bike for 3k miles and only used the D208 SportMax GP.. I'm thinking of renaming my bike Jack...

as in Jack be nimble jack be quick

i replaced the tires do to a lack of confidence in them after an accident. but they were the tires on the bike when i bought the bike... So pretty much Im curious to know if these tires really do perform that much better then the 208s or if i should be concerned that there might be some damage to my triple trees or forks... My mechanic said that all was good but.... i've never been on a bike so responsive.

I'm not tire expert but here's my 2c... It may have more to do with your back tire than your front. The rear Pilot Powers have a more "pointed" profile. By pointed I mean that it has a smaller radius at the crown and is flatter toward the edges. The effect is a bit like having a smaller profile tire for quicker turn-ins, and at the same time, greater cornering traction from a larger contact patch area at lean angles. Bottom line, you don't have to work as hard to tip the bike over. I'd say, just enjoy your new found agility...
