a friend of mine tipped my bike over when he tried to get off...

it was painful seeing my baby's whole right side come crashing down like trucker joe after 20 or so beers, bang!!

so i broke my right miror, right footpeg, and my brake lever is bent...

solution: new mirrors, new footpeg, and pazzos!!

the mirrors i got on in 15 mins, but the bolt and tab that holds the foot peg on the right side i cannot figure it out for the life of me

how can i take that off? it seems like i have to remove my rear brake lever to fully pull out the bolt, but what about the tab thats holding the bolt? there isn't even enough room to put a pair of pliers in there to pull out the tab...

I actually had to replace a footpeg myself. I think I had to unscrew the whole rearset assembly, including the rear brake lever. There's a c-clip on the end of the bolt that holds it there. You need to shove a screwdriver (flat) in there and just pry it out. Make sure you can find it afterwards though. Then, the bolt will slide out and the peg will slide out.

You need to pull the brake lever to get enough clearance to pop out the peg pin. To do that you'll need to remove the clip from the back of the lever & pull that pin, and also remove the brake switch rod and lever return spring to get the lever out of the way. It's not hard to do, but you do need to get it right. I suggest taking some pictures before you start. There is a circlip at the bottom of the peg pin that will fly off, depending upon how you remove it, so be prepared & wear glasses.
