So I was riding to the grocery store when someone ran a stop sign... I went down... I feel GREAT good gear and helmet (knee got scraped and ankle sore (she ran it over))... bike not so much... how much should I be looking at for a new clutch cover and gasket?

The part you need is a stator cover, not a clutch cover. If the person who hit you is insured, get her insurance company to buy you one and new fairings. Keep the old ones for experiments/track days, etc. Good gear makes all the difference. I sure am glad you had it.

I just bought a new one after my accident. New from the dealer the part was only around 50 bucks. Don't forget to get the gasket too... I can't remember if that gasket was in that $50 or if i spent a few more for it.

Glad to hear you're ok man, I wish more people were as honest as the one that took you down, mine sure wasn't!

Best of luck on the recovery of you and the bike!
