Have taken the plunge after months of consideration and ordered my LSL risers and superbike bars from Jack Lilley today!
Before it arrives, I have a couple of questions for any of those out there who have already converted their S4s.
Having done a bit of research on this forum, it seems I should be able to use the existing throttle / clutch cable and front brake line with a bit of sensible routing.
The first question is, how do I remove the fuel tank enough to route the cables as necessary?
The second is do you have any advice on re-mounting the master brake cylinder?
Any other advice greatly accepted!

Cant wait for it to arrive now!

I have used my existing throttle and clutch cables, just moved them around a bit and didn't need to remove the tank. The kit comes with a new braided, longer front brake hose (well mine did anyway). The kit also came with a new bracket for the master cylinder, however to make mine fit I had to use a plastic tube clamp on the bars as well.

I'll see what I can do this long weekend, out of town until then.

Coincidently enough, I just ordered a kit too, though I'm getting it from Team Triumph in Wisconsin. They said it should be here by the end of next week. Looks like I'll have a nice little project for the weekend.

Some see a benefit in a more upright riding position, and more leverage due to a wider grip, both are pluses for around the city. It also looks good, however I still can't talk my self out of clipons, since I have bars on my ktm.

remounting the brake fluid resevoir is kind tricky, took me awhile to figure it out. i ran the stock clutch cable for a year or so after the conversion and i finally broke down and had one made, i just couldn't stand too see the cable so contorted, i also used a set of the renthal streetfighter bars in black and it looks great with the frame. if you guys wanna see some pics i'll throw them up tommorrow...

As mentioned above, the main reason for the change is comfort (ok, think it looks wicked too) - too many years of martial arts have left my elbows and wrists a touch on the 'tender' side! Fingers crossed it all goes to plan!!

Where did you get you clutch cable made? Mine's not in the best shape, and I probably should replace it when I put on the new bars.
