i have a D&D exhaust can that has been loud for a very long time. i finally bought packing to repack it, but there wasnt any

anyway while the can is off the bike im thinking of cutting it down a little bit. i have seen it done on here but cant find the link. can someone tell me a step by step?

pretty much my biggest concern is the carbon can it be cut?

Yea, I cut mine with angle grinder. Not a problem.

Cutting the can? or the pipes? I think the headers are two long for the S4. Looks 1e6 times better with shorter exhaust.

When you're cutting the exhaust you really want to wear a mask or ideally a ventilator - the dust from cutting carbon fiber is not stuff you want in your lungs.

Haha, I was sitting in engineering class and was thinking "a million times." Missed that one. If you get carbon in your lungs, then they start to act as a HEPA filter of sorts lol. But yea, wear a mask.

didnt cut tonight but i got the can and muffler seperated( think i got fiberglass in my eye :-/ ). gonna cut tomorrow maybe.

this is a tt600 and im thinking im gonna only have ~6 inches after the wrap around band that supports the can.

oh and ill have pics all along.

taking the can to a custom shop tomorrow hope they will cut it. the can is real carbon fiber and i dont wanna splinter it too bad.

what i hope it looks like. my photoshop skills suck, but it should look really good when finished.
