When looking to buy a TT600, what should you look out for? I've test ridden it already and liked it - but are there any parts I should pay particular attention to when inspecting the bike?

Cheers!

What year is it? 2000 models had some quirks that should have been taken care of a long time ago, but if the bike has practically no mileage, then it is worth finding out if the IAC valve is OK, the stepper motor is OK, and the injection maps have been updated. Other than that, make sure any recalls have been taken care of, although if they haven't, Triumph will still do them and can look the bike's VIN up to check. The speedo sensor has a tendency to fall apart over time. It isn't a big deal, but it will happen eventually. I went through three of them in 50K miles or so on TT600s. Aside from that, I don't know of any specific weaknesses that you should watch out for, other than the usual older bike maintenance and mileage related issues. They are not particularly quirky once you get used to the power curve and the riding position. Neither of those is all that extreme.

Its a 2000 W-reg with 13k on the clock. Was looking for a 2001-on model but this one is mint, and I loved riding it so seems to make sense. Just seeing if there was anything else to pay particular attention to I guess!

Cheers

If it is mint, that one sounds like a keeper for sure. I like the way the 2000 bikes look best anyway, and they had more power than 2001 bikes.
