Just my reference, does anyone know quantity of fluid to fill min to max level for cooling fluid and oil?
After 2.5K miles I noticed coolant is down to min level so needs a top-up. How long to you normally expect oil and coolant to drop max to min?
Many thanks for your comments.

Coolant level is an odd subject, since the bike will find its own level over time. After it settles on how much coolant it really wants, you should not see any coolant or oil use at all. I just turned over 32K miles, and it uses no oil or coolant.

If you fill the coolant to "max" while the engine is cold, it will overflow. It doen't overflow until the bike is stopped, for some reason. If your bike is like mine, it will end up with a cold coolant level a bit below "min" and the coolant will rise up to just below "max" when very hot. Oil level should never vary.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

if your coolant goes down, you may have the same problem I had with a bad collar on one of the coolant hose. It would leak a small amount when parked after a long ride. I had to change the collar to fix it, but the leak was so small that it took time to figure out where it was.

good luck
