has anyone heard about sp4, and all triumphs, getting recalled for the fuel injection? according to the mechanic at a shop other than my local dealership, the plastic nozzle that spits the fuel cracks causing fuel leaks and uncontrolled fiery crashes. he said that the highway and road administration imposed the recall and was only last week, 2nd week of July, officially put on due to part availability. well, i'm passing the info along. check for yourselves.

It is not the fuel injection that is getting recalled, it is the plastic disconnect fitting at the bottom of the gas tank. Those are fragile and can be damaged if you or somebody else removes your tank ham-handedly.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.
