I've got a pretty pronounced leap of torque right at about 3500 rpm. Often on a left turn from a stop it kicks in right at midcurve (because a left curve is longer) and screws me up midturn because I have to back off the throttle which bucks me a bit. Of course I'm new to the S4 so I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to it. When you guys make a turn do you often back off the throttle a nano to compensate for the upcoming torque boost?
after a while you learn to be smooth and just lean forward right as 3k is coming up, but as far as left turns, just let the clutch out a little slower,

Wow, that made a big difference! Allowed me to control my shoulder tension. Why in the 5 books I've read on riding no one ever mentioned that is beyond me. Thanks.
the only time i really notice it, is in parking lot, when i'm cruising around at close to 2k rpm or anything like that, in normal riding circumstances i've usually got it up to about 4krpm until the clutch is all the way out
