i want to buy adjustable levers. my sp4's clutch lever came stock without the ability to move. p3unlimited makes the ISR's, but are around $500 for brake and clutch levers(they look superclean, though). does anyone know of a good, relatively inexpensive manufacturer? originally, i wanted to put mx levers on, i like the two finger grip, but don't think it can be done. if you know how it can, hook me up with some knowledge. thanks, i love this site.

Yeah, the clutch lever reach was too long for me too. I don't know if you have tried this yet, but I shortened the reach to my cluth lever by bringing the clutch lever assembly closer to the grip.

There are four things on the left handle bar: the end weight, the rubber grip, the switch housing, and the clutch lever assembly (the mirror stalk screws into it). I left the switch housing where it was since it is often keyed to the bar with a peg and hole. There was a 1 cm gap between the grip and the switch housing. I was able to twist and turn the left grip so it was snug with the housing (this lets you put a toll coin between the grip and housing). There was a 2 cm gap between the switch housing and the clutch lever assembly. I used an allen wrench to loosen the lever assembly clamp and slide it snug to the switch housing. There is a small indentation at the top surface of the bar that is an index for where the top of the clamp should be. The clamp has an up arrow. It means that the arrow should point up and that the top bolt of the clamp should be tightened first.

The net result was to bring the grip and lever assembly 3 cm closer so now I can grab the lever closer to the pivot. This shortens the reach considerably.

A Bonneville "dog leg" clutch lever fits the S4. Cheap solution for an easier reach.
