don't know if I should worry about that, but there is a rubbuer cap inside the brake fluid can that is kind of dropping into the can itself. don't know what this is but I'm sure it wasn't like this before, I usually can see the oil level moving when I lean the bike a little. but now there's almost no air gap between the oil and the rubber "thing".

and I may be paranoid but the brake lever seem fluffy, not at and extreme level, but it feel different to me.

The rubber diaphragm is designed to follow the fluid level down and is perfectly normal. It has nothing to do with the mushy feel of the brakes, that is a separate issue re: air in the brake lines. When you fill the reservoir to the full level, simply push the diaphragm back into it's highest level.
