My neck and back are killing me and I'm thinking about getting the LSL Superbike Handlebar kit from Spiegler. Has anyone raised the handlebars on their S4? Did it make a big difference? Is it necessary to lower the rearsets to get anything out of the different handlebars? What are the drawbacks? Thanks!

if your back hurts, you may be sitting on the bike wrong, try moving forward on the seat, and holding yourself up with your stomach muscles NOT your lower back and wrists.
also hold the tank with your knees (if your not too tall) and keep your arms bent slightly

this will stop the tension in your neck.
it works for me and I've got major back problems.

i wanted higher bars so bad when i first got my s4, then eventually i got used to the clipons, i've acctually got some r6 clipons on my bike now, which are even lower than stock, and sometimes i wish they were even lower, your body just needs to get used to it, and if you're still being sore and uncomfortable, take back roads to work instead of the highway, if you keep moving around you won't get as sore, no matter what kinda bike you're on, if you sit still too long you're gonna hurt
