When I sit on my 2001 TT600 all I see in my mirrors is my shoulders. I am not able to adjust them so that I can actually see behind me. I have search the forum a bit but didn't find many options in extending/replacing the stock mirrors. I would like to keep the stock look if possible but I NEED to see behind me. Does anyone know of any stock mirror replacements that stick out further?

I would rather not go with bar end mirrors but if thats my only option to see, I will do it. Any particular good ones I should get? preferably low cost.

I just went to a car shop and bought small round curved mirrors that you use to expose the blind spot on a car. I stuck them on the mirror-in the bottom far corner- and bang, I can see my blind spot and way down the road behind me.

Just look between your arm and your body. If you keep your arms tucked in when you are using the mirrors, all you see is your arm, but if you move your arm out, there is a clear view. It isn't a perfect solution, but it works.

burgess,
what a great link you put down there. i often wondered if there were helmets out there with that type of capability, and i was blown away with how sleek of a look they have as well!

great post man!
