I'm not sure if you're looking for a specific brand ???.........but after my first 1000km oil change I switched over to Synthetic.

Any bike shop will stock the good stuff................

Hey Splodge, I think you will find Triumph recomends Mobil 1 Racing 4T, I've used this in all my Triumphs with no worries what so ever. I usually change my oil & filter at 6-7000 Km's, a lot of people will call that overkill ( Which it probably is ) But I've never had an engine go bad on me. Really any good Synthetic motorcycle oil will do. ( Don't use car oil!! ) :-D

I've always used Mobile 1 Racing 4T in both of my Triumphs. I usually change the oil between 2500-3500 miles.

I was using Mobil 1 15w50 syntech oil for cars and never had an issue with 30 000kms on the bike thus far. A bike mechanic told about this oil and he used it in his Fireblade.

However, the oil was not engery saving oil and was high performance oil for racing. Thus no additives to screw up the clutch like many of todays car oils.

Saying this, I went back to motorcycle oil because Mobil change the oil and I did not want to risk it. I now use Kawasaki 15w50 synthetic oil.

Stampy has some good advice as well about changing your oil often. I actually tend to change my oil more often then he does around 4000- 5000kms. Plus, first thing in spring if I do not do it in the fall before parking the bike for the winter.
