Is it me, or is not every spline on the shaft useable for adjustment. It seems there is a pretty good distance between lever heights with even the most minimal adjustment. Ideally, I'd like a position between the current one and the one lower. But here is my question: How can I move the whole lever closer to the frame so I don't have to bring my foot out to the side as much? I can push the lever further on the splined shaft, but then the screw misses the groove. Is there a way to change this? I have to say, I love the bike, but I can't see why the hell they don't make adjusting things easier. Seems like a no-brainer.

you dont want to move your foot any closer, remember there are no fairings which means hot engines are not good to be touching.
however, if you must, youd have to find an aftermarket shift lever because the current was not intended to move inward, just up and down.

i havent needed to adjust the lever on the triumph, but if its anything like my kaw, the lever has to be set EXACTLY otherwise it wont fit.

hope that helps
