Well my aerostich has always worked well in the cold and wet. or if i dont feel like wearing that then i will put on gore windstoper fleece under my gear. If it is really cold then gore windstoper fleece balaclava. Also a really cheap upgrade that does wonders is heated grip elements under your grips

my method is frye boots, jeans w/aerostitch overs, shirt and fleece vest under my (gasp!) harley davidson lined leather jacket with optional balaclava or skullcap (ultrathin neopropene ski style for helmut fitting) and fogcity prepped visor. Fleece gloves, but i plan on heated grips this winter. Has kept me toasty for 4 years here in the wet! Standard temps daily are 37 to 45 degrees and rainy.

I have dainese atlas jacket and galvaston trousers. Not only do they look good, the offer the best protection out of all the gear I have and the winter linings really are good. I've been through the worst wet weather I could have imagined ( so dense rain even cars were stopping as windscreen wippers couldnt work fast enough) And come out of it totally dry. I've come off a long trip and got my pillion to chuck a bucket of water over me to wash off the dust at a services and its works a treat. I NEVER have to think about rain if i'm in it, or about to be in it... It's great to not feel hurried or anxious about the weather and get on with the riding. I have a heated waistcoat and with my jacket and trousers a pair of jeans underneath and a jumper I've ridden in snow, 0 degrees on long/fast motorway trips and still been warm enough. Basically if i need new gear, i'm buying the same thing, just newer.
I have oxtar boots, (never leaked) and some great alpinestart gortex (winter/summer) gloves (they dont seem to make them anymore which is a real shame because theyre great too. everything has gortex
