I've had these awhile now, I got the long levers. The brake felt good right away. The clutch, however, needed a bit of fiddling with the reach & cable adjusters to get comfortable. Once I got it dialed in right all was well. I'm glad I didn't get the shorties, although the short lever would be OK for the front brake IMO. And the levers look very cool, too!

Nice, I was thinking about getting a set of the shorties myself. Any reason I should get the long instead :

I love the shorties because I ride dirt too. The only sucky part is that you use the clutch alot more on the street and it is a harder pull than my quad so sometimes I just use my whole hand. As far as the brake, I was once told that only grabbing with two fingers could be a bad habit when you really need to stop because you wont use all four to grab which would be stronger. Im doing alright though

I have been told that, too, but track experience tells me that two fingers is plenty on bikes like ours. If you have modern, powerful brakes, two fingers is enough to really haul the bike down in a big hurry.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.
