Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
Remus titanium ex ZX6R shortened by 6" and sounds great, not too loud a bit more of a boom with a real rasp over 10,000rpm, and a nice burble on shut off. :hammer: :-D

i have the Triumph carbon can fitted. It gives the bike a deep rumble at tickover and a deep note at the lower end of the rev range. It does pop a bit on the overrun too! sounds lovely :-D

Will you get away with an MOT with the Triumph race can on ?

Does it have any markings on it ?

Seen one on T'ebay and i,m sorely tempted , you have to get it remapped though don't you .

I have a TwoBros carbon can on my bike. It definately does not sound like a typical I4 bike. I think it is much smoother sounding and is pretty quiet for an open can. I bought the bike with it on from the dealer, so I can't comment about remapping because I am not sure if it has been done. I can tell you that the bike is definately flat until 3K, and then the power kicks in, feels like it has turbo lag. That mostly disappears when the bike is at running temp and I don't really notice it anymore.

I have the T race can on my bike, like the way it sounds, not as loud as others. It does have very fine print under the exhaust nozzle stating that it is not intended for road use, competition use only, etc. It also has a nice shiny 'Triumph' label on it, which I've heard from some of your countrymen makes it easier to get through MOT. Our inspection here isn't nearly as strict from what I understand.

It's also a 10 minute swap to go back to stock for an inspection. Although I don't know the peculiarities of MOT

Unlikley to get through with race can on, as is stamped "Not for road use". However, 10 mins to swap cans. Mine has been re-mapped for the race can, ran ok to get to MOT station, swapped back, SORTED!!
Agree with others about the sound, sounds like proper race bike, complete with bangs and pops on over-run. I go looking for tunnels, The Blackwall is my fave!!! :-D :-D

mine hasn't got any markings on at all. The bike hasn't been adjusted.. I just did a straight swap. I think it may have made the sub-3000rpm issue very slightly worse but i'm getting used to it now.

My bike is coming up to needing it's 4000mile service very soon so i may get it remapped then.

I'm not sure how it will fair at MOT time but that's almost 3 years away so i'm not going to worry myself over that :-D
