I know the speed four is pretty stable but on the track I felt that a steering damper would've been usable sometimes when I was in full accelaration hitting bumps the bike would wooble, not drastically but enough to wory that it could go worst.

has anybody installed a steering damper on a speed four?

Is it my lack of experience that makes me feel wanting one?

thanks

Scott makes a steering damper that attaches to the triple clamp. I don't have one, but my brother had one and liked it. They made brackets to mount it on a TT600, so that will fit your bike.

The bike will give a little headshake when the front end gets light under hard acceleration. It ought to settle right down on a Triumph. If you drop the front of the bike, it will turn in quicker, but get less stable and the headshake will last longer or get worse. Then you really need a damper.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.
