I haven't let the fuel light come on yet since owning my tt600, and usually fill up when I hit about 100 miles. Just wondering what a normal tank range is for these though as it'd be handy to be able to go a bit further without worrying about filling up

I got everything from about 60 miles (track) to 200 miles (poking along with the mix leaned way out). If you are getting less than 100 miles, there is nothing wrong if you are riding it hard.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

I can get about 140-160 depending on the riding being done. I've never taken it easy for a complete tank full, so the 140-160 is a mix of aggressive moments along with freeway cruising at 5K.

I average around 170 until the gas light comes on doing a mixture of highway miles as well as hard rides.

I recently filled up after 120 miles of cruising with a good few power over takes and needed 12 litres to refill. Seems in line with what everyone else is saying. 50mpg seems about right for touring estimates.

Just remember that 50 mpg in the UK is 40 mpg in the US. We have those wimpy little 16 oz pints.

My reserve light winks at me around 130-140 miles. I live in the land of curvey roads and can't restrain myself to "easy" riding much. However on trips I've seen upwards of 45 mpg, thats with me tucked for miles upon miles at a steady 80 mph.

I used to never get better than 40mpg, but I have been riding at a more relaxed pace in the last year and am seeing 45-49mpg. This gives me a range of 300+ miles per tank. Of course, my fuel capacity isn't stock
