So little you need not worry about it.

Rev matching is only important when riding very hard and braking, because the rear wheel has a tendency to lock very easily when the weight is in front

Sorry bud but I disagree to the max.

matching revs is the core of the science and the art.

matching revs is about knowing your bike, learning the road and surfing the power curve.

this means that slipper clutches are the attracting lace underwear of satan (or was it stan?)

Rant over! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :hammer:

Matching revs is only important if you're shifting gears while the transmission is "loaded" (transmitting torque from the clutch to the final drive, or vice versa), something a racer would almost never do.

The slipper clutch eliminates half of the load - transmitting torque from the final drive to the clutch on deceleration. The racer "backing it in" with the rear wheel not gripping the pavement/dirt/ice/whatever is using nature's slipper to the same effect. And race up-shifts are either accompanied with a manual throttle chop or an electronic ignition chop, so a racer almost never has to think about matching revs.

If you're not racing, and you like your wheels to stay in line on downshifting corner entries, you have two choices - blip the throttle to match revs, or fan the clutch to minimize the load on the transmission. Either way, the effect is the same. It's a matter of rider preference.

Upshifting just isn't a problem. You either fan the clutch with the throttle closed while shifting, or you chop the throttle momentarily to unload the transmission - there's nothing else you can do to drop the engine speed for an upshift, and even a klutz can do it.

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
I never use the clutch to upchange and only feather it to downchange if I am really pushing I don't use the clutch to downchange timing and a little blip of gas does the matching bit, but the matching is important it is sympathetic to the machine :-D
