ok for about a month now i have had a hard starting problem on my 01 tt. you will crank on it for about 1 minute off and on and then it will start idle low and then come up to full idle.

i have replaced the fuel filter, plugs and air filter. the only mod is a new pipe.

i want to go on a long ride next week on my vacation but am affraid to. the closest triumph dealer is 200 miles away.

HELP!!

Sounds like a pinched vent hose or out of kilter tip over valve to me. If all else fails, open and shut the gas cap.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Does it have a new battery? What about a look in the airbox- is there oil in it?

You probably have oil in the intake and getting on your valves and spark plugs. Run a bunch of techron or other injector cleaner through it and see what happens then.
