Who uses this? Who uses a different mobil1? If you use the 15W50, how much do you pay for it?

Thanks,

- John

Thanks,

I assume you're talking about the automotive oil, if that is the case - WalMart has it pretty cheap. When you're there you can pick up their "super tech" 6607 filter for 2.00 at the same time. Better than fram, don't use a fram.

You can usually pick up Mobil 1 10W 40 / 15W 50 full synthetic oil for anywhere $5 - $8 a quart at any walmart / kmart / auto store.

Mobil 1 MX 4T 10W 40 motorcycle oil is a little harder to find at these store , just call around. I found an auto zone that had it for around 8 bucks a quart.

I do, however Mobil recently repackage the former "red cap" 15/50 as "Extended Perfomance" & raised the price. And it's now harder to find in my area (PA). Last time I looked it was about $7 US/quart & pushing into MX4T pricing territory...

I searched high and low for it in Vancouver Canada... You would think ina metropolitan city one could find it, but Wal-mart etc doesn't carry it...

Had to go to Motul @ $60/gal ironically it didn't come with any free lube at that price... Is it just me or does it smell a little like beer?

A friend of mine says that I have to buy the full gallon Mobil1 from the dealership if I wanna "do it right." I told him thanks but no thanks.

IS that like my friend that states, "I only use Shell or Amoco" gasolines? (not that amoco is still an option but that was years ago.)

I liked it when I told him that in the Chicago area, at least a few years ago, the only refinery that made the mandated EPA reformulated gasoline was the Clark refineries, so the point was moot.
