I put Chase Harper Stealth saddle bags on my Speed Four with good results. They fit well, clear the exhaust and passenger pegs, and look good. They are semi rigid so they keep their aero shape without sagging like cloth bags. The down side is that they can't be over stuffed as much as cloth bags. I have had one set on three different bikes for 10 years and they are still holding up. They are also very light weight, so they won't upset the balance of the bike.

They are not water proof, so before installing I spray them with silicone boot waterproofing and let them dry. This makes them virtually water proof. The bags are black but will fade to a charcoal grey in the sun after one season. To protect the paint on the bike, I apply strips of stick on number plate plastic sheeting (a motocross accessory) to each side of the tail section. The number plate plastic has a low energy adhesive so you can easily peel it off at a later time, and the plastic prevent the bags from abrading the paint.

Remove the seat and lay the adjustable saddle bag cross straps across the open tail section. When you put the seat back on, it will clamp the straps under the seat. I have my bags adjusted so the back end of each bag rests lightly on the rear turn signal. You readjust the cross straps by trial and error. Then loop the tie down straps behind each bag, around the turn signal, and through the triangular loop at the back of each passenger foot peg bracket. Since the tail of the TT600 is the same as the Speed Four, the fitting should be the same.

On last tip: close the bag zippers towards the front. That way you can reach back and check that they are closed by feel, even when on the move.

Chase Harper makes some quality stuff, no doubt about it. I had a set of their Aeropac bags for many years (bought them in 1990) and they held up quite well. They were red, which matched the Katana I had in 1990 but of course they looked ridiculous on my yellow TT so I sold them to a friend with a red VFR. I know that as of two months ago he was still using them.

Now I use a RevPack Tour Pack, which works great on my TT. The bag is effing huge and only costs about $95. Here's a pic:

RevPack is another high-quality manufacturer, they are just lesser known. I have a RevPack tank bag that is eight years old now and still in great condition.
