My 2003 speed 4, (purchased new only a few months ago) has maybe 2000 miles on it. One of the hoses that doesn't connect to anything down near the shifter leaks a few drops of fluid every so often which smells like gasoline. Is this normal? The bike lives outside with a cover on it and I have only just noticed this problem in the hot summer weather.

It also seems to leak a drop or two of oil every so often from the other breather tube, but this only seems to happen when the bike gets hot enough for the fan to kick on.

Anyone have any solutions/suggestions? Or does anyone want to tell me not to worry about it and that it is completely normal?

Yes they are the breather pipes , if you fill the petrol to the brim it goes into the breather and comes out there . don't know about the oil one i suppose it,s the same and as long as you check your oil level regularly it should be ok .
