Hi,
I appreciate this may have been answered before, but I've been given some extra advice which I wanted to check

I've heard that a race can form a 1200 bandit will fit onto a TT600 which is good news for me. However someone has told me that it will hamper performance because the triumph's cans are slightly longer than normal and I should be replacing with a sports can of the same length. Is this true? I have a remus can on my 1200 bandit which I was planning on putting on my new tt600

thanks

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
Got a Remus from a ZX6R on my s4 bolted sraight on and absolutly mint performance and sound without any adjustments or tuning go for it mate it will probably be fine, you will only tell if it gets rid of the 3-4000rpm lag when you try it. By the way length in this case is irrelevant as I also chopped about sixinches off the Remus and it still runs and sounds good.

Good move mate as I said my remus is the bottom one of the series top being the original, runs great but I never had any trouble with the bike whichever can I have fitted :-D

I was told the same thing by Carbon Can Company and they sold me a slightly longer can than their standard model but at the same cost which works fine. They came out with a really good explaination about the cam profile on the 2000 model TT needing the extra length which obviously doen't apply to the later models, so perhaps everyone here is correct??
