Any suggestions on what brand of sliders to get for a 2000 TT600? Also... I looked on the sides of the bike for where I may be able to put them, and I couldn't locate a spot? Am I going to have to drill into the frame to get these things on, or am I just not seeing it?

I recently set it down, and am going to get new fairings for both sides and want to be sure what kind of sliders to get? Sturdy but affordable...?

In advance to all... Thanks
Jon

R&G, skyking and LSL all make frame sliders for the TT. You are going to have to drill a hole into your fairings and remove an engine mount bolt on each side to mount them.

I appreciate the info pyro, but by putting alternate bolts into the engine mount will this weaken or perhaps damage the bike internally more if I were too put it down again?

Putting something wear it doesn't belong worries me...
granted i want to save the new plastic if i were ever to put it down again, i just don't want to hurt the engine?

I would recommend the Skyking Sliders over the LSL's. The LSL's don't have much "slide" in them. I.E. it can grind down to the aluminum quickly, tweaking the engine mount bolt badly.

It doesn't seem to weaken anything. Here is another vote for Skykings. I ground one down pretty thoroughly, and although the plastic was also well scuffed, the damage would have been catastrophic without the slider. As it was, the bike was still rideable and easily fixable.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Fellas,

I appreciate all the responses... if anyone has any other suggestions feel free to let me know.

Sounds like Skyking may be the route I will be taking.
I'm assuming I can find those at any bike shop or my local dealer here in Lexington.

Once again... thanks everyone!

Your local triumph dealer might carry them, if not you can order direct from skyking online

Is it hard or is there a secret to cutting the hole in the right place the first time?
