I thought these were very nearly identical, so can I use a TTT600 manual to follow maintenance procedures? Seems like these come up for sale more often that the S4 manuals....

Thanks!

Unless you get an early one (like the one I had), then they are the same manual. Even if you get an early one, the differences are not significant from a maintenance perspective, so a TT600 manual will work just fine.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

yeah, I am not planning on doing anything major with it, but was wanting it for things like checking the valves, etc. Thanks, that is what I thought -- that these two bikes were very similar, but I wanted to make sure. What does an early one look like? Can you tell by the cover?

The TT600/Speed Four lists both on the cover.

If it was published before 2002 or 2003, it won't have any mention of a Speed 4, just a TT600.

oops?! Sounds like a good story!.....Thanks for all the information. Since I got the manual for $35 it will make do for most of the things I can actually complete myself. If it doesn't, well, then I will just have to get the combined one I guess.
