Sorry, but it's time to put 4 new tires on 2 bikes. I have been looking at Avon Azaro ST (AV45/46 combo) and the Conti Road Attack. I am running Michelin on my S3 and Bridgestone on my S4.

Does anyone have experience or opinions about either brand?

i've used the avons before, and while i know some people have had great results with them, i really didn't like my set. i had them on my first bike, a gs500, and the problems started from the beganing. the dealership put my rear on backwards, which meant that they gripped terribly at first. after about a hundred miles i realized the mistake, and ever after that they still seemed to want to slide on me. maybe i was just imagining it since they were so bad at the start (not the tires faut) and so i just didn't trust them. so maybe you don't want to take my advice. but when i get new tires, i'm not going to get avons, that's for sure.

Didn't really like the Road Attacks on my S4. Took them off and replaced them with Pilot Powers. Very happy with these and the mileage is better than expected (....maybe 'cause I ride too slow..)

Im putting on Road Attacks today. I'll post back tonight and give you my initial thoughts of them compared to BT010's. One thing that kinda bugs me about the road attacks, the rear says made in Germany as I would expect, however, the front is made in Korea... I wish I would have known before the purchase.

Depends on your riding style. I put a set of the Avon 45/46 on my S3 and absolutely love them. The again, I don't really push too hard in the twisties either. For my riding style, they work great and will last lots of miles.

If you're more sport oriented or do trackdays, I've heard the Michelin Pilots are awesome....

Guys in my Triumph riding group mostly recommend Dunlop Qualifiers. And the latest issue of Motorcyclist gave them a best product of 06 award.

I had Diablo Corsas, they were awesome, but road use wore them out pretty quickly. Now I have a Pilot Road rear and ***** it feels slippery!
