It was good to find this site! I used to check into TT600.org from time to time and was sad to see it go, but happy to find you all!

I have a question for all the TT600 and Speed 4 folks. My headset is loose and it looks like I need a 38MM wrench, but a really thin one. Anyone on here have a clue where I can get one? If I have to I can go to the dealer but would prefer to avoid that and I know I can order from Jack Lilley, but it's awfully pricey for the ones there that would be needed once maybe twice and thats it. Any suggestions?

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
Don't know about the USA but here in the UK, we have tool hire places where you can rent stuff that you only use once or twice, somthing like a wrench would only be pennies for a days use.

Autozone has a loaner tool program, but I doubt that they would have anything that thin. I would probably just cut a wrench out of steel flat stock from the hardware store.

I went to a car place & bought a pair of Ford "fan-nut-spanners". They are pressed steel with long handles & a kink. I bought them too tight then ground them-out till they are a tight fit.

Remember loose head-races knock a bit & give you wooley steering. tight head races can make the bike unstable. Avoid overtightening at all costs.
