Got my new Quill can today and installed it. Sounds good, little louder deeper tone. I should'nt have listened to the open exhaust in between, but I had to. I think the open exhaust sounds just right
Took a minute for the computer, but WOW the throttle response is excellent.
I may try to go for a ride later see hoow the can performs.
I got my K&N today, is it a ***** to put in?

Nah, it's easy. The K & N requires removing the tank (3 bolts) and disconnecting the fuel lines, breather line, and vent line, then unscrew 4 torx-head bolts on the air box. Be sure to apply grease around the filter where the edges touch the box. You'll be surprised at the smaller width of the K & N, but boy, does it make a difference!

By-the-by, the Quill looks very nice.

I see you say it took a minute for the computer, obviously its adjusting somewhat. Are we talking literally 1 minute of riding, or say a few heat cycles?

I just started it and did some quick wind ups. At first it didn't want to idle very well and died twice. It was also cold. So started it a third time and let it do it's thing and smooth out, then hit it a couple times :-D . Open exhaust on this bike sounds great. Should have rode it around
I just went for a ride around town and I tell ya, this can just made this bike awsome. Gone is the 2.5k-4k herky jerkys, it's just smooth from idle all the way up. We have a roundabout in the neighborhood that I go around every day. It slopes away from the island and 2nd gear was sometimes scary, now I can drive around it without the on-off method.
This can seems to be top-notch. A buddy said it sounds great now.
I'm pretty satisfied with if that helps any one else out. Plus if you live in the U.S. you get a smokin' deal
I'm going to put the K&N in tomarrow :hammer: Today was like X-mas
