Does anyone have a suggestion for a sporty set of panniers. I've been looking at the Givi T438, Teknic SpeedStar, Cortech Sport, Nelson Rigg Silver Streak, and Genuine Triumph Sport.

Does anyone have any experiences with the above throw-overs? The Genuine Triumph bags are over $100 more so they are naturally last on the list, unless they are vastly superior, which I doubt. But, what about the others? What about paint protection? Which are going to scratch my bike the least?

I have the Cortech Sport bags with the top bag, which attaches directly to the panniers. I love them, they served me well on a trip I took to Wyoming last summer. They are a bit a of a hassle to get on and off, but once you get the hang of it, you can get them on and off fairly easily.

The only weak point I'd say is the included rain covers. I never trust them to stay on completely, so I wrap a bungie around them .

I've got the Triumph ones and they are good to go 100+ and have kept my gear dry in some bloody awful weather

I have the Triumph throwovers. I like them because they come with fender protectors that fit like a glove, they're very well made, they're roomy enough for my purpose, they come with integrated rain covers, and they go on/off easily in seconds.

I have the Triumph panniers also but for some reason, the left one is fading to a purple color. Anyone else?

triumph throwovers and yeah , the panel protectors are perfect and the intergrated rain covers do the trick. I ride fast too and never a prob, also becaus ethey are bespoke they prob fit the most when carring a passenger too. I think theyre worth the money IMO, quick on and off too.

So, how cumbersome are they to attach? They look great, and I found a place that has them for $54.
