How good are the Triumph racing exhausts?? What type of quality do they offer over other brands?

Anyone have one and how do you like it??

Where could I find one and how much do they cost on average?

Brand new you can order them through the dealer for around $450 I think. Pretty spendy, but a lot of the exhausts are pretty spendy. I don't have one, so I can't tell you a thing about their quality.

Mine is pretty loud but sounds good. I did notice a flat spot at 3k rpms once installed...even with the custom tune from the dealer. I wasn't able to get that resolved until I used Tuneboy.

Anyway. Have you heard the Scorpion can? FuryFour has it (I think) and his sounds excellent. There's a thread with a video so you can hear it.

If you're going to buy the Triumph Pipe, I'd shop around on eBAY for one. I bought mine for $200 of eBAY, and it was definitely worth it.

John, thanks for the input!!

My other choice would be a Scorpion. I like their Titanium exhaust. I have never heard one though ... nice to know it sounds good!!

Did you get your Triumph exhaust new or used on Ebay?

Brand new in box. I also picked up a new in box bellypan for the S4 at a buy it now price of $125. But don't expect to see that kind of deal often.

Good luck.

I have a Devil Carbon Fiber Sb2 pipe meant for the Zx6R. picked it up new for $275.

i've been told constantly that i have one of the sickest sounding triumphs anywhere. even compared to the triples haha.

I'd be happy to post a sound clip if you want.

i think it sounds and looks better than the triumph pipe :-D
just my opinion though

I had the Triumph CF race can on my S4 for a short time...it was loud enough to raise the dead, but performed worse than stock. It had a nasty flat spot about 3k - 4K. It looked great, though. But I don't miss it.

I had a cheap second hand Triumph CF Race can and it brought a new dimension to the word LOUD!
When I managed to save enough pennies I got a Wolf Titanium can with removable baffle which sounds great

I just ordered my Devil (1998 ZX6R) carbon oval.....yesterday. Should be here this week.

I can't wait to get it on !!!!!

For the post above with the same pipe installed (furyfour).......did you have to re-map, or did it just pop on and go ????

Let me know

Johnny B
