I got a Shoei RF-1000 in today. The Picotte 3 TC-6 scheme that is white with orange and the joker. Pretty sweet helmet. I must say it's the most comfortable one I've ever worn. It beats my too big and awful Vega that it replaced in every way. But now I think that the helmet gets more looks than the S4. I guess I'll have to get an aftermarket pipe and make the bike loud enough to get the attention back where it belongs.

Those Shoeis are excellent and cool looking helmets. Too bad they don't fit my head. What I have is X-Lite X801R. With a black visor it looks totally badass

But the coolest helmet I've seen so far is definitely the unpainted HJC AC-12. Too bad it doesn't fit my head either. Otherwise I'd definitely get one

The state requires me to have something "protective" on my head. I have to say it's better than some of those things the Harley boys wear.

Lance-S4, where are you at in Washington state?

My father in law is a harley ride and wears a dinky helmet that might as well be a baseball hat. He complains about getting hit in the face with bugs, but still won't switch to the full face. Go figure.

I'm loving the RF-1000, quiet and cool. Fits my head perfect. Although it just about rips my ears off taking it off. I've put it off and on a lot in the two days I've had it because of errands and such. I have rug burn on the back of my ears!

Hopefully the helmet will break in a bit and my ears will toughen up. Or maybe I should suck it up.

Here is a picture of mine, in real life the orange is darker and matches the bike better.
