Ran 4 time trial runs, then got eliminated in the first round.

Had a great time as always, it's only my 3rd time to the strip, other two were on my SV650. Hey for $12 for 5 or more passes, you can't beat it!

With the MPH you hit, a high 11 should be achievable with a good launch. did you feel you could get off the line quicker ?

did you muck around with tyre pressure at all ?

yes my S4 could be launched much harder and do high 11's. i launch like a large vagina compared to the regulars. i launched at 5k, feathering between 7k and 5krpm.

the second bike in the video is the guy who beat me, a 90's CBR600F3 with stock 85-90hp. he launches at 11.5k rpm on a dunlop d207, no wheelie bar, but about 18" swingarm stretch.

i was getting about 2.1-2.0 for a 60' time. he was doing 1.5's. 1.8 is real good for a stock sportbike.

he was running 11.10 at 119mph. basically same mph as me as we are making about the same HP, just getting off the line hard. you'd never launch any stock length swingarm sportbike like that, but there is a large margin of improvement over what i do.

the track is coated in tons of unbelieveably sticky rubber. even dumping the clutch like he does at 90hp, you're not gonna spin a tire at all. no way, you'd sooner flip over. no burnout and stock road pressures will work just fine for me.
