Took the D650 for a good run yesterday. Noticed a couple of things that I'm really not sure about.

- when I rolled off the throttle, the vibes through the footpegs were really noticeable - is this usual?

- bit more serious - when I got into the high nineties & above - the front end really started to shake (or bounce as it wasn't really wobbling), if I was braking I'd call it chatter - this can't be normal.

Any ideas?

Carole

Do you have an unbalanced front tire? That is the first place I would look for something like that.

Thanks for the advice - the front wheel was out of balance. The reason? I'd put Ultraseal in the front tyre (as I've done on 3 previous bikes) for peace of mind in case of a puncture. Turns out, this was throwing the front wheel out of balance at high speed.

Just had to pay to get the stuff out again, but bike's going fine now.
