I just charged my battery and fired up the speed four for the first time this year, and the orange engine light is on now. It seems to be running normally, fluid levels are good, temperature range seems the same, sounds the same, exhaust looks/smells the same. What could cause this? Could it have anything to do with the battery going dead over the winter? I think the last time I started it was in November, and the light wasn't on then. I filled the tank and added fuel stabilizer before parking it for the winter. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Run the bike as normal and hhe light will go off after the fan has come on threee times. The light always comes on in the event of a flat battery or blown fuse.

If there was anything seriously wrong the engine managemt would switch into limp home mode.
