Hello all, I just got back from a spirited ride on my baby and I've noticed a couple of things I would like to ask

1. There is a "ticking" noise coming from the motor at times. Is this my valves or something else?

2. Is it normal for the temp. to get up pretty quick? I was out for about an hour an the fan kicked on once, and came close a couple other times. I was doing city riding.

3. Is the clutch lever adjustable to the piont where I don't have to reach as much?

Thanks. peace out my hommies :-D

1. yeah, I think I have heard that on occasion man.. normal operation I would think.

2. yeah, she gets up in temp pronto.. you just got to listen to a s4 at idle to know its a pretty strung out motor. I live in a pretty hot humid part of the world.. if I get stuck in a bit of traffic or catch a few lights in a row she gets up to 105 no worries.

3. um.. I think the brake is but the clutch isnt from memory (too lazy to go out and have a look)

A thruxton adj clutch lever would be a cost effective option.

Someone makes a dog-leg lever which reduces the reach too. It might have been a Triumph part. I considered it when I first got the S4, but have become used to the stock one with my new popeye forearm

Just so you know, the ticking is the fuel injectors. They spooked me too when I first heard them, but now they are just the bike talking to me. Triumphs have a lot to say, apparently.
