Have any S4 owners tried Jack lilly Rear sets? If so what did/do you think of them.

LSL makes great products. I would think any of these sets will be quite pretty on the bike. If you're buying them because you want a different peg position, adjustability might be something to consider in making a decision.

I have Gilles rearsets fitted to my S4 and the quality is superb. I bought them off ebay and paid a good price.

They are in black and compliment the black frame. they are fully adjustable BUT! if you have the bellypan fitted like me you MAY! have difficulty setting them at the lowest position as the gear change bar MAY! catch the bellypan.

I have them quite high and did notice the difference instantly, but have got used to the position now.

Having only ridden approx 200 miles though the carbon heel plates that come with them have developed a few scratches, with my boots rubbing against them.
They can be replaced however seperately to get them looking A1.

They come with the rear brakelight switch bracket for easy attachment of the brakelight switch and fitment was fairly simple.
:-D

All i can say if your in the market for a set of rearsets then definitely have Gilles on your list! the looks are great, the quality is excellent, fitment easy, and comments from friends once you have them fitted is always complimentary.

One final thing is the price may put you off but, i think they're worth every penny.

This is a list of rearsets I am aware of that fit the Speed Four/TT600/D600/D650 with rough UK prices.

The Jack Lilley Rearsets are LSL ones as Jack Lilley are the UK importer

Gilles (adjustable) £250
LSL (adjustable) £300
Lucas TRW MCF161T (adjustable) £180-£225
ProMach (adjustable) ?
SES Racing (fixed) £140

I have second-hand (£50) standard Daytona 650 on mine as I wanted the benefit of a smoother gearchange from the linked system rather than extra ground clearance through dragging pegs.

Rik, thanks for the post. You wouldn't by chance have part numbers would you? I do want a set of adjustable ones.

Don't have pat numbers to hand. Most of the parts will be listed for the TT600 but the frame is the same as the Speed Four. The only consideration you need to make is whether the Speed Four bellypan gets in the way (which is unlikely)
