howdy all. just picked up a 05 d650. as part of the purchase price they were supposed to buy & install a lowering kit (for $250) when i got it home & checked it out to see how it works, it doesn't look like an aftermarket part. can anyone post a pic of a stock link. i think they charged me $250 to extend the stock part & lower it 1 inch. thanks all!

Scuse me but my stock link is nothing like Fury Four's. Mine are two steel straps. Fury four has a very flash adustable link!!! On this site & others I have heard of cheap lowered links which are just different length cnc milled steel straps & these flash adjustable ones.

The only way you will know is - is it lower. But as the spring preload adjusment only sets ride height they could have just adjusted out the preload.

The lowered links are meant to give superior geometry but IMHO :-D   most of that is just male cow excrement (was that filtered?- no! wow jack****!)
