I just got a new 2004 speed four, only 50km on it and after a brief visual inspection I discovered that the clutch cable sleeve it rubbing againts the radiator braket causing the sleeve to wear. it wont las long before perforation.

anybody has an idea how should've been route differently so it avoid contact with the radiator braket?

thanks

A lot of us think the clutch cable and its routing are the worst thing on the speed four!!

You can try putting a "hole grommet" in the eye of the wire cable to to protect it.

One owner successfully sleeved the cable (I tried that and failed!)

You can also run it further inboard and rebend the cable loop.

All of these work to some extent, personally I am getting a different cable made up and will keep you all posted if it works
