I keep coming up with a yellow warning light on my 2005 Daytona 650 Tachometer. Somebody told me it could be low battery voltage and to put it on a trickle charger. Has anybody experienced that also. :???:

don't know, but putting it on a trickle charger can't hurt it

but if you have been riding often it shouldn't run the battery down

Is that the check engine light? It could be all kinds of things. If it is the red low oil pressure light, you really want to shut down the motor right away, but the yellow one is the ecu's way of telling you it has a fault code stored in it. If it stays on past three heat cycles, probably best to get it checked out. If you disconnect the battery and then reconnect it, that will sometimes light the trouble light for a while. Hope this helps.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

i have been having battery problems on mine. i am now on my third battery and that's what it shows on mine. dealer can't find anything draining it, but about every three months i'll get to where i have to push it off if i let it sit more than three days. i think the light just adds to my decor now; all i have to do is run it good for a day or two and the light goes away. if you're worried then by all means get it checked out. but experience dictates for me that it's just a weak battery.
